Altesi Paper Lanterns

We were asked to design and make the lanterns for Altesi Ristorante, NYC. 

Hand-stitched leather straps hold the paper box lantern under the natural oak canopy.  

We made a pair over the breakfast counter...

 ...and a pair over the bar.

We used a classic Guacho Weave to keep the leather as tight as possible around the ring.

Built like a classic duffle bag with an extra thick leather base to support daily workouts.

Hand-Stitched Leather Picnic Set

Update of the turn-of-the-century picnic set for an equestrian.  Stainless steel insulated containers wrapped in natural saddle leather with a hand-tooled custom monogram, along with a hand-stitched double carabiner.  It can all be treated with the same conditioner as the saddle, and will age beautifully.

The canisters are all stitched with a classic gaucho weave.
